Recent Projects

The work that we undertake on behalf of our clients covers everything from small clean-up work through to the major valet that may embrace 15 or even more of our Accredited Contractors.

Preparing the property for the first open home is our primary concern and signals the beginning of the marketing programme in earnest.

Here are some recent projects that we have undertaken, with a brief description of the scope of our work, the various tasks involved and some outcomes.

3a Waimarie Street, St Heliers

Hidden on a tree lined drive, yet just moments from beach, village and cafe's, this elegant and comfortable 1930`s stucco home has been remodelled to a high calibre with open plan living from centrepiece kitchen to dining and living, opening to sun-drenched terraces. An adjoining family room will benefit young families whilst parents enjoy a full master suite overlooking tropical gardens. Artist`s studio, garage and study complete the home. Sweeping near level lawns studded with palm trees make this so much more than a townhouse.

Richmond Road, Grey Lynn

This historic concrete house, built in 1894 for the wealthy candle making Warnock family, sold for a record breaking amount establishing Grey Lynn as one of Aucklands most exclusive suburbs - so said The Sunday Star Times.

The Property Valet Company was engaged to look after all the grounds clean-up and maintenance work through the whole marketing programme to auction day. This also included maintaining the looks and colour of the gardens, the pool and surrounding outdoor entertaining areas as well as all lawns and tiled pathways.

As expected, auction day attracted an enormous crowd of enthusiastic on-lookers as the property changed hands for a record $2.8 million!

Turakina Street, Grey Lynn

Our client was introduced to us by their realtor to have the property prepared for sale to maximise buyer interest and maximise sales price.

Our Task List covered interior and exterior painting, fix-it task work, "showpiece" interior cleaning, staging and art hire, deck repairs and grounds work

The property was sold at auction.

Shelly Beach Road, Herne Bay

Designed and built by James Lloyd, modern living merges with original craftsmand and art nouveau detail in this fine residence. Harbour views and a west facing garden, this villa has been appreciated widely. To complete the detail, work undertaken by us included resurfacing and painting external window timberwork, decks and so-forth.

As expected, the property sold quickly.

Warwick Avenue, Westmere

Impressivley transformed by Guy Tarrant, this home defines contemporary living with superb detailing. Effortless flow has been created by the architect to enjoy lazy days on the large outdoor patio area leading to the main lawn.

Our work involved preparing and laying new lawns, garden work and hedge work, interior and exterior paint work, fix-it tasks and interior staging.

Victoria Ave, Remuera

With stunning street appeal, this is one of the few uncomprimised properties in Victoria Avenue.

Approximately one hundred years ago, this beautiful family home was built in perfect position for catching the sun and surrounding scenery. Although the era has changed, its history as a family home hasn't. Over the past 24 years the owners have enjoyed sun filled rooms and free flowing entertainment space. They now feel that the time has come to find this special home a new family.
